Job Description
Aircraft Performance:
- Receives, evaluate and maintains operational performance documentation.
- Ensures the validity and availability of certified aircraft performance data through the AFM to flight crew and relevant personnel.
- Prepares & publishes specialized charts or services.
- Records & analyzes the performance levels of the airline aircraft through performance monitoring
- Evaluates new aircraft, power plants and systems on performance criteria & establishes performance baseline for new aircraft.
- Evaluates aircraft capability to transport of live animals on flights.
Fuel:
- Follows up on fuel conservation/ management/ monitoring data surveys for effective cost reduction programs.
Aircraft Weight and Balance:
- Coordinates with Engineering and Maintenance Department to calculate and publish the Dry Operating Weights and Indexes in reference to AFM.
- Coordinates with Traffic Systems and Procedure Unit to provide the technical EDP Semi-Permanent data for the passenger departure control system.
- Designs and/or coordinates with the aircraft manufacturers in the design of the Balance and Trim sheet.
Operational Flight Planning System (OFP):
- Maintains and updates aircraft registrations and fuel policy inputs.
- Coordinates with flight planning supplier all flight planning matters
Aircraft Flight Management System (FMS):
- Works closely with the Navigation section and other management members
- Downloads navigation data on relevant media and distributes them to concerned personnel for downloading into aircraft equipment.
Technical – General:
- Prepares technical presentations or lectures to flight crew or management.
- Follows up and updates aircraft related software and relevant databases.
- Maintains contact with airframe, engine and system manufacturers.
- Follows up & assists in running developing projects and tasks.
Skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Team player.
- Excellent computer and modern communication skills.
- Available to receive calls and be at work after normal working hours,
Education
Aeronautical Engineering or any related field
