About the job
We are currently seeking customer-focused individuals to join our family as Flight Attendants who will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall satisfaction for all Royal Jordanian passengers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Welcoming passengers on board and directing them to their seats, helping with hand luggage or any seating problems.
- Making announcements and keeping passengers informed of any delays etc. and always being visible in the cabin to answer any passenger requests during the flight.
- Leading passengers in case of emergency and giving first aid to passengers when the need arises.
- Checking all passenger seat belts, check galleys and securing it before takeoff.
- Serving meals and refreshments to passengers as per company rules and regulations.
- Professionally demonstrating safety procedures and equipment use before every flight for all passengers
- Carrying out pre-flight duties, including checking the safety equipment, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy, checking that all meals are on board (including special dietary requests), relevant landing cards are loaded, and first aid equipment is checked.
- Ensuring that passengers disembark safely at the end of a flight and checking that there is no luggage left in the overhead lockers, toilets and galley areas.
- Completing all flights related paperwork e.g. (stock control, logging any faults or problems during the flight…etc.) and liaising with the ground staff
- Organizing and sorting export & import cargo documents compliance with cargo manifest & ensuring the registry of all reports in handling system & cargo revenue management.
- Receiving, reporting & investigating cargo discrepancies and liaising with concerned parties for proper resolving and action and proactively providing all needed updates to the customers on any related issue.
- Handling Civil, diplomatic, military & courier mail by receiving local and in-transit mail and arranging loading it on all departure flights.
- Performing all activities pertinent to transit & Amman Warehouse and ensuring a well physical conditions of warehouse and its equipment.
- Checking all incoming cargo AWBs and manifests and inserting all information of AWB into the computer and contacting cargo owners to inform them about the arrival of their shipments and issue delivery orders.
- Coordinating and preforming the operational function of transporting air export shipments from Amman to all accessible countries and positioning entails working directly with clients, agents and vendors to provide the highest level of services possible.
- Controlling and tracing all Dangerous goods & Special shipments, in addition to ensuring that all kind of Dangerous goods and Special shipments out of Amman are being accepted according to IATA rules and regulations.
ob Purpose:
The position holder is responsible for ensuring a smooth acceptance of passengers through participating in the passengers’ travel experience providing the needed services (check-in, Boarding, Transfer, Baggage Services …etc.) prior and post the passenger’s flight.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out passengers check-in process within the set time limitations
- Checking the serviceability of check-in counters and reporting any malfunction.
- Displaying the required security and safety notifications at the check-in counters Preparing check-in counters
- Keeping documents and information secured from unauthorized use in accordance with the set regulations and regulatory requirements
- Handling passengers’ embarkation process in due time as per the set procedure (crown class, special needs, etc.)
- Implementing the process of reporting the passengers to baggage security control in due time
- Handling the delayed flights as per the set procedure
- Performing the required flights related Announcements in due time
- Preparing the required documents (limited release tags, Cabin baggage tags, indemnity forms,etc.) to be available during the boarding process and to be collected after completion of boarding process
- Carrying out transfer check -in process for passengers and their baggage within the set time limitations
- Recording and handling baggage claims for destruction, loss, damage or delay, as per the set procedures
- Carrying-out baggage claims handling process for Customer Airlines as per the signed agreement
- Preparing baggage services counters with the required labels, voucher, forms, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain documentation of insurance transcripts and manage a schedule for premium payments and policy expiration dates.
- Notify insurance companies of changes effecting insurance coverage.
- Review data renewal and policy applications, adding any recommendation and forwarding application to insurance companies.
- Analyze and administer employee’s programs including health and group life programs.
- Review and audit policies terms and conditions or any amendments before processing for approvals.
- Negotiate with insurance companies on major claims to ensure timely settlements.
- Follow up in procedure for processing new, renewed, and / or amended corporate insurance policies.
- Provide all RJ- worldwide outstations with needed insurance certificates or technical reviews if needed in timely manner
- Ensure that all frontliners adhere to RJ grooming standards, including uniform presentation and personal hygiene.
- Conduct regular grooming checks for frontliners appearance and provide constructive feedback and corrective actions.
- Assist in organizing specific grooming sessions and workshops for both genders
- Implement any new “grooming” changes and updates.
- Promote a positive work environment by encouraging a professional attitude among all frontliners.
- Address attitude-related concerns discreetly, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Work closely with the concerned management to identify certain requirements for individual or group(s).
- Report any incidents or cases where violations are found
- Prepare daily, weekly, and periodic reports for stakeholders.
Licensed Aircraft Engineer (Certified)About the job
Licensed Aircraft Engineers are personnel responsible for the release of aircraft or component after maintenance within the extent of their authorization and issue an aircraft certificate of release to service accordingly. C/S must be able to determine when an aircraft is ready for release to service and when it should not be released to service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Release an aircraft to service after the satisfactory completion of maintenance
- Guide mechanics at their support during the performance of maintenance
- Supervise maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration (repair or modification) that is performed by mechanics under their supervision personally to the extent necessary to ensure that it is being done properly
- Use the methods, techniques, and practices prescribed in the current manufacturer's maintenance manual or Instructions for Continued Airworthiness prepared by its manufacturer, or other methods, techniques, and practices acceptable to the authority during the performance of maintenance
- Use the tools, equipment, and test apparatus necessary to assure completion of the work in accordance with accepted industry practices. If special equipment or test apparatus is recommended by the manufacturer involved, he must use that equipment or apparatus or its equivalent acceptable to the authority
- Complete all required maintenance within the available maintenance downtime
- Release the maintenance documentation upon satisfactory accomplishment of maintenance and keep such as part of maintenance records archive
- Record the details of the maintenance carried out or make a precise reference of such on the aircraft technical log system
