About the Job
Support the Corporate Safety Department in implementing Occupational Health & Safety activities across Royal Jordanian Airlines.
The role focuses on assisting with workplace safety monitoring, basic hazard identification, safety reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions to help maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational health and safety requirements in line with company policies and local regulations.
- Support workplace inspections to identify basic safety hazards and report observations to the OHS Manager.
- Assist in collecting and documenting safety reports, incidents, and near-miss information.
- Support incident and accident investigations by gathering data and assisting with follow-up actions.
- Help maintain safety records, logs, and documentation related to inspections, incidents, and training.
- Support the coordination of safety awareness activities and basic safety briefings when required.
- Assist in updating risk registers and tracking safety action items.
- Follow up on assigned safety actions to ensure timely closure.
- Support the preparation of basic reports and presentations for internal safety meetings.
- Assist in organizing emergency drills and safety exercises under supervision.
Skills
- Understanding of aviation and workplace safety principles
- Interest in occupational health and safety and aviation environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- 2 years of experience in a related field
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field
