About Us
Meet and Assist is a joint venture (JV) between Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) and Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) has been awarded a contract to develop, maintain, and provide Meet and Assist Services at the new Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) terminal in Amman.
Purpose:
The incumbent, reporting to the General Manager of the Joint Venture, is responsible for managing and overseeing the human resources function of the concession in order to meet the objectives of the Joint Venture Partners – Worldwide Flight Services and Alia Royal Jordanian Airlines and AIG the Operator of Queen Alia International Airport.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversees HR and administrative functions including Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management and Employee Relations.
2. Interact and liaise proactively with various operating units to identify human resources needs in accordance with the business needs and market trend.
3. Ensure legal compliance for all HR policies and procedures in the joint venture.
4. Implement recruitment strategies to attract talents for meeting operational demands.
5. Ensure the payroll/ benefits administration are smooth and refine customer service standards if appropriate.
6. Prepares budget of human resources operations.
7. Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
8. Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
9. Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
Skills
- BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related streams.
- At least 5 years of human resources generalist experience. Including 2 years in a supervisory level or above.
Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with all internal and external parties.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is a must.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience.
- Plan, organize and prioritize work.
- Assign and supervise the work of others.
- Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior.
- Excellent time-management, problem-prevention and Problem-Solving skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Jordanian nationality preferred.
