About the Job
The Groups Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing tour operator and group requests across Royal Jordanian Airlines stations, based on displacement cost, demand forecasts, and prevailing market fares. The role is also responsible for preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to analyze traffic trends and materialization rates by point of sale (POS), and for communicating insights and recommendations to management and outstations to support required commercial actions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare pricing offers for ad hoc and series group requests under approved guidelines.
- Support revenue optimization by analyzing group demand and available flight capacity, considering displacement cost.
- Assist in confirming chain allotments based on demand planning, seat availability, and Global Group Sales Policies.
- Extract and analyze data from internal systems to support group forecasts and performance tracking by outstation.
- Evaluate group requests and support recommendations on acceptance and expected materialization.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on group requests, traffic trends, and materialization rates by point of sale (POS).
- Monitor the status of group requests (booked, offered, rejected) and analyze reasons for variances.
- Coordinate with internal teams on matters impacting group capacity.
- Support communication with tour operators regarding group requests and route opportunities.
- Ensure timely handling of all group requests and compliance with Global Group Sales Policies and procedures
Skills
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Commercial awareness and strategic thinking, including understanding of group pricing and market segmentation.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple group requests efficiently.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data tools for reporting and forecasting.
