Flight Analyst Engineer

About the job

The Flight Analysts will manage and be responsible for the optimization of their respective flights

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor/validate forecast at the aggregated leg/segment level but do not influence the forecast
  • Carry out test on the show-up forecasts and optimizers’ solutions and continuously try to uncover improvements
  • interface with Scheduling on capacity changes
  • Respond /manage the O&D alert queues and critical flights
  • Adjust and monitor overbooking levels and inputs
  • Adjust and monitor upgrade levels and inputs
  • Adjust and monitor decrement levels and inputs
  • Validate Bid Prices.
  • Evaluate post-departure performance of the flights under his/her control
  • Produce management reports
  • Performing data checks and validations and correcting wrong post-departure data

Skills

• A good understanding of origin and destination dimensions of passenger flows across an airline network

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with advanced problem solving capabilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strategic and Commercial Thinking
