About the job
The Facility Management Engineer oversees managing and implementing designs of required projects pertaining to renovation, redecoration and redesign of Royal Jordanian whilst maintaining continuous improvement and development, keeping up-to-date with the most appropriate designs thus reflecting a positive image of Royal Jordanian Airlines, the position holder is also responsible of the periodic maintenance of RJ facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assign and schedule work tasks with facility technicians in a team-oriented environment and perform initial evaluations of building systems and distribute work assignments.
- Coordinate and follow up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, and any other mechanical systems.
- Coordinate and assist in installation and repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Review and maintain maintenance logs and maintenance budgets and complete any and all documentation necessary to the completion of a task.
- Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required.
- Read, interpret and understand sketches, diagrams and blueprints.
- Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
- process all type of Buying related activities (pre-qualification; RFI, RFP…etc.).
- Perform all the studies needed to analyze offers & recommend awarding decision.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Skills
- Good Knowledge in MS Office - Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Teams.
- Having team spirit and being able to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and in Arabic.
- Ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, self-starter, goal driven and dynamic
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent .
