About the Job:
The Engineering Stores Coordinator supports the control and tracking of materials, tools, and equipment within the engineering stores. The role ensures proper handling, storage, and record-keeping to support safe and efficient operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, store, issue, and track materials, equipment, tools, and components according to procedures.
- Conduct physical inspections, identify, tag, and manage unserviceable, overdue, or damaged items.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, including packaging, environmental requirements, and hazardous materials handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory, tool records, daily reports, and data integrity.
- Monitor shelf-life programs, quarantine procedures, and any suspect or affected items.
- Safely handle tools, materials, and electronic sensitive devices using appropriate protective measures.
- Plan and optimize storage layouts, space utilization, and material flow.
- Process orders efficiently using computerized inventory and transaction systems.
- Support internal teams with accurate information on part availability, lead times, and specifications.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of orders, shipments, and documentation.
- Support audits by providing records and documentation as required.
- Report missing, overdue, or damaged tools and materials to the supervisor
