About the Job
The Crew Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of crew schedules while maintaining full compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, and operational requirements. The role supports daily flight operations by optimizing crew utilization, managing schedule disruptions, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring crew qualifications and training requirements are continuously monitored to maintain safe and reliable operations.
Main Duties
- Ensure crew scheduling activities comply with company policies and aviation regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date aircraft schedules using the Fleet Watch system.
- Update and maintain crew schedules in the AIMS system.
- Communicate all crew scheduling changes promptly to relevant departments and outstations.
- Ensure adequate flight coverage and balanced crew hour distribution in compliance with regulations.
- Manage unplanned crew absences by arranging suitable replacements
- Update and adjust crew schedules following operational or commercial schedule changes coordinated by the Operations Control Center (OCC).
- Administer and monitor crew vacation schedules while ensuring operational coverage.
- Monitor crew qualifications, licenses, medicals, and other expiry dates in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Coordinate and monitor crew training schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Prepare and maintain standby crew coverage to support daily operational changes and disruptions.
- Review and respond to daily emails and operational communications related to crew scheduling, ensuring timely action and coordination.
