Job Description

About the Role

To support the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the Airbus A320 aircraft, ensuring compliance with Royal Jordanian Airlines’ operational procedures and aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Captain in all phases of flight operations.

  • Operate aircraft systems in accordance with SOPs, checklists, and manufacturer procedures.

  • Participate actively in flight planning, performance calculations, and route familiarization.

  • Execute assigned duties during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.

  • Maintain continuous situational awareness and effective communication with the flight crew.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.

  • Report operational or safety-related occurrences as required

Skills

Licensing & Medical

  • Valid ICAO ATPL (or ATPL Frozen where applicable)

  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate

  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher

Flight Experience – Type Rated (Narrow Body Captain)

  • Minimum 1,500 total flight hours

  • Minimum 1,000 jet hours

  • Minimum 500 hours on A320

  • Current on A320 type
